Abstract: It has been a fine tradition of the Communist Party of China in rural work for many years to send task forces to rural
areas. The assistance of cadres in villages is not only a valuable experience in targeted poverty alleviation，but also an important measure to implement the rural revitalization strategy. In order to summarize the experience of cadres' poverty alleviation in villages and understand the current situation and problems of cadres' assistance in villages during the cohesion period between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization，a field survey was conducted in Yunlong County. The survey found that Yunlong County cadres'assistance in the village has made remarkable achievements and farmers' satisfaction is high，but there are also some problems，such as inaccurate selection of cadres in the village，unbalanced assistance effects，formalization of work，insufficient stimulation for rural endogenous power，weak links in the construction of grass-roots organizations in addition to inadequate guarantee and incentive for cadres in the village. It is proposed to further improve the village working team system and establish and consummate a long-term mechanism of cadres' assistance in the village.
